Tara &
Liam |
|
Say hello to six-year-old Tara
and her five-year-old brother, Liam. These
two children are waiting for a loving family, with
experienced and skilled parents.
Big gray
eyes and a wonderful smile, Tara is a petite,
friendly little girl who wears glasses. She likes
to engage in family games and social events as
well as puzzles, board games, and memory matching
games are her favorite. She also likes to play
outdoors and especially likes to slide. She loves
princesses and is most fond of Snow White.
Liam is an extremely bright and adorable
boy who is eager to please and desperately wants
stable parents to love. He has bright eyes, a
great smile, a healthy appetite and loves to have
his blonde hair spiked up. He is very curious
about his surroundings and how the world
works.

Alexis |
 Alexis is an adorable
eight-year-old little girl with light brown eyes
and dark brown hair. She has deep dimples in each
cheek that she shows off every time she smiles.
Alexis is a very loving and affectionate little
girl. She can be very shy until you get to know
her.. She has an adventurous side and has to
be
watched carefully to ensure that she does
not hurt herself. Alexis enjoys listening to
music, dancing, playing with other children, and
being the center of attention. She can be caring,
generous and helpful. She is very artistic and
welcomes the opportunity to draw and create crafts
for anybody willing to receive them. Alexis
needs a family who will love her and allow her to
be a child. Alexis would benefit from a family
that will bond with her and allow her to feel safe
emotionally and physically. Alexis needs patience,
safety and security when forming new attachments.
Alexis enjoys being around other children, and
would succeed in a home with either no other
children or children significantly older than her.
Alexis would benefit from a family willing to
continue to work on her personal boundaries
between herself and others.

William |
 William is an
eighth-year-old handsome boy with laughing
brown eyes, curly hair, and a cute smile. William
is tall for his age and slender. He is active and
is always ready to run and play. William likes to
play with toy cars and trucks and he enjoys
anything that is squishy and slimy. William has
been able to ride a bike since he was 4 and he
enjoys going for bike rides. William likes TV,
movies, and video games. William loves anything to
do with dinosaurs. William does well with
animals and is very close to the dog in his foster
home. He enjoys playing with children, although he
does best with younger children. William is
attached to his current foster parents, but was
slow to attach. He will need caretakers that are
patient to his adjustment and supportive of his
special needs. William sees his sister regularly
and they get along well. Like most siblings, they
have fun together, but also know how to push each
other's buttons. William and his sister are
attached and although they are being adopted
separately, they would benefit from being able to
maintain a relationship.

Tierney |
11 year-old Tierney is tall for her age;
she's also inquisitive, observant and smart as a
whip. Tierney is a creative and talented artist,
who enjoys singing, acting, and all kinds of art.
She's an affectionate and loving child, who enjoys
girly things, like playing dress up and putting on
a show, and she thrives on
attention.
Tierney has been in and out of
foster care throughout much of her life and has
experienced multiple placements. Tierney attends
mainstream school but will need ongoing treatment
to address her past trauma and transitional
issues. Tierney is developmentally on target, but
has a tendency to tell stories, and can be
manipulative, dramatic and stubborn. However, she
has made significant progress in the last year,
and she blossoms when given praise and
encouragement, along with the opportunity to
express herself in healthy ways.
